Both the Snohomish and Stillagumish River Systems went up a fair amount last night and this AM. This new influx of water should not only bring in more coho but should perk those up that have been in the system for awhile. The next few days should see some improvement to the fishing. With the new water there should be some color to the water, making the fish less skittish and should get them moving making them a little more accessible. In the lower water conditions the coho move into the heaviest cover that they can find especially log jams. They have quite an affinity to wood!
Get out and fish!
Might forget the salmon and give the steelhead a try in the Reiter Pond section of the river.
