There hasn't been a lot of good water to fish in the local rivers as with the weather that we have been receiving the streams have been up and down like a yo yo. Just when the main systems start to come back into fishable shape the rains come again and they go out again. A few of the smaller streams that are open for salmon have been putting out some fish. Notably the Wallace and the Cascade have been the two that we have been hearing the best reports from. Many of the fish that are being caught are far from prime but still allow for some C & R fishing.
The weather is very much typical of our Fall fishing - just have to take it the way it comes.
