Reiter Ponds - Skykomish River

Shawn talked with a couple of his buddies that fished Reiter Ponds this AM and they said that there were five or six steelhead caught there this morning. With the little freshet and the rise of the river there was a little bite today, though it wasn't what was expected. Usually the first good rains of the fall pushes all the hatchery fish that have strewn themselves throughout the river brings them all into the Reiter Pond section of the river. Perhaps there is not a good number of fish in the river or perhaps they just haven't made their way back yet!
