Area 10 - Blackmouth

Spoke with "Pete" this afternoon to see how the WDFW blackmouth sampling was going in area 10. He said that they fished the Oil Docks area on this side and managed to C & R 3 legal blackmouth in the 22 -28 inch range and released a number of sub-legal blackmouth shakers. Wasn't anything to brag about, but better than no fish at all. He had spoke with Gary Krein on the "Morning Star" who was fishing the Jefferson Head / Kingston side and managed to land a few blackmouth in the same size category.

Everyone is looking forward to Area 9 opening on November 1st as we have heard of a "Good" number of nice sized blackmouth in the mid teen range being C & R'd while targeting coho.
