Heard from a few of the hard core guys that could not stand having a place to fish today - a few of them tried the Wallace, though still high did find a few coho stacked up in a few spots. Most did well just fishing eggs with a corky and yarn. Tomorrow should see a little better conditions in the Skykomish with the water dropping the way it is and the next rains not due until tomorrow night. It will be a decision as to fish steelhead up at Reither Ponds or to chase coho. In either case it will give one an opportunity to go chase some fish.
The Stilly looks as if it will be awhile before we see some good fihing conditions with it colored up the way it is.
Heard the Skagit is very muddy and running high and it like wise might be awhile before things look good in the middle and lower sections of the river.
The Cascade would be a good bet with it dropping and clearing fairly quick, should see a good number of coho bunched up at the holes below the hatchery.
