Mutiny Bay / Admiralty Bay Halibut

Overall the reports that we have been getting today from Mutiny and Admiralty Bay were not fantastic! There was perhaps upwards of 150 boats that came and went today in these areas and we heard of perhaps a half a dozen fish amongst them. Wouldn't say that is anything to write home about. Even with the higher than average tidal flow I would have thought that there would have been a better bite during the first few hours before the tide started to really ebb out! Perhaps the evening tide will produce better! We'll just have to wait and see! It's amazing to see how much participation there was on this halibut opener. I think I put somewhere around 7 1/2 miles of Spectra line on reels yesterday alone!
