Halibut Season Opens - Thursday May 5th

The Puget Sound and Eastern Straits Halibut Season opens this Thursday, May 5. Everyone has been anxiously awaiting the season and getting all their gear ship shape. We have been extremely busy the past couple weeks getting everyone set up for the season. We did hear of a few incidental halibut caught Sunday by the boys targeting ling cod. All of them wish that the season had been open so they could have retained them. We have lots of halibut gear in stock as well as an ample supply of purple sized herring. We will have some dyed blue and green spawner herring in tomorrow afternoon.
