Cowlitz, Drano & Wind River - Spring Chinook

We have been getting "Great" reports from all of these place for those targeting Spring Chinook. The Cowlitz boys have been getting good numbers of springers in the section of river from Mission downstream to I-5 this week. There has been some "Fair" bank fishing for Chinook at the Barrier Dam section for the bank fishermen. The Drano Lake and White Salmon crowd have been trolling the usual assortment of Brad's Mag Wigglers, Mag Wiggle Warts, Wordens M-2 SP in Fluorescent Red, Fluorescent Red Black Tiger Stripe and Fire Tiger color patterns. Prawn Spinners and plug cut herring have all been producing fish. The numbers of fish going over Bonneville dam have soared over the past week! We should see some good fishing at least for some time.
