Extended Shrimp Seasons

We have been granted an additional day to fish spot shrimp in six areas of Puget Sound next week on Wednesday May 25.

Areas set to reopen include the Discovery Bay Shrimp District, Marine Area 8-1 (Skagit Bay/Saratoga Passage), 8-2 (Port Susan/Port Gardner), Marine Area 11 (Tacoma/Vashon Island), and a portion of Marine Area 10 outside of Elliot Bay, west of a line from West Point to Alki Point. These areas will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. .

Hood Canal will also be open on May 25 as previously scheduled, and will open for one additional day June 8. This area will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. .

Limit 80 spot shrimp.
