Steelhead - Reiter Ponds

John was at Reiter Ponds yesterday and managed to have a fair day with four take downs, hooking three and landing two. Not a bad day overall considering how fishing has generally been. He managed to hook a couple from the hatchery side before he was asked to leave by a Snohomish County Sheriff as they were closing the area down for a crime scene investigation. He then moved over to the highway side and managed to hook a couple more. One was around 8 pounds and the other around 4 1/2. Nothing outstanding but always better than nothing at all. Floats and jigs were the ticket and there was no color pattern that was better than another.
