Squid - Edmonds

Edmonds finally turned our some fair squidding last evening. One of the hard core regulars caught 6 pounds of 9 - 10 inch squid while fishing from 6 - 9 pm. Red mentioned that there were good sized schools of squid that would come into the lights on a fairly regular basis. He said that the smaller sized squid jigs did far better than the larger sises. As has been an ongoing problem at Edmonds the seals showed up and scattered the schools. Hopefully, this is the start of some more consistent squidding rather than the hit or miss fishery that it has been for the greater part of the season.
