Area 9 Opener

Though there is no way that anyone was out early this morning, the reports that we had out of Area 9 on Saturday and Sunday were for the most part not to bad! There were good numbers of anglers fishing the Possession Bar area both days, with perhaps a participation of around 75 boats both days. We heard reports from customers that went from "Didn't get anything" to "We had limits of fish in the 10 - 15 pound range". For the most part, we did have some fairly good across the board reports of fish in the 7 - 15 pound range.

I did not have any reports come in from Port Townsend as most of the guys did not want to take a chance of running up just to have to beat their way back if the weather kicked up. Hopefully, I will have time today to make a call up that way and talk with some of the locals to see how Mid Channel fished.
