Lone Lake - Whidbey Island

With the warmer weather we have had this week a good number of fly fishermen have been fishing Lone Lake out of Langley on Whidbey Island. For those anglers that have an idea of what is going on some have had outstanding fishing and those that really don't have any idea are still getting a handful. Those that have been doing well have been fishing bloodworms or smaller micro leech patterns. Unless we have a real turn to colder weather we should see some Chrinomid action virtually any time now. With such an unseasonably warm January we should be seeing some good fishing very early this year.
