Kayak Fishing - Big Island Hawaii

Tim Bauer once again e-mailed a photo of a very nice Mahi-Mahi caught on a live Opelu from his kayak out of Kona Hawaii. For any one that is going to the Big Island the water tempeture is a warm 78 degrees. With the warmer water there has been a good showing of pelagic species. If you are going to the island don't forget to throw in an outfit as there are numerous shore fishing opprutunities for a variety of species.
