Port Angeles Halibut Derby Results

The Port Angeles Halibut Derby was another real success. The top fish weighed in at 88 pounds, caught by Ken Kirkman or Port Angeles. I was surprised that this was all the winning fish weighed with all of the large halibut caught this season. The 30th place fish weighed in at 41 pounds. Overall, Norm Metzler said the derby was a "Great" success and that the total number of halibut landed during the derby was in excess of a couple hundred.
