Bonneville Dam Counts - Columbia River

Shad numbers have taken a drastic downturn the past few days and with it the fishing! We have not been hearing anything great shad wise for awhile. Hopefully, we will see a little revival in the numbers and have another shot or two at these fun fish.

The steelhead numbers continue to increase though the Dam as well as the sockeye. Last year many of the bar fishermen on the lower Columbia scored well on the sockeye plunking spin-n-glos.

We should start to see some good steelhead fishing at Drano lake in the weeks to come.
