Lake Samish Kokanee

If you are getting tired of looking at the same scenery at Lake Stevens fishing kokanee you might head north and fish Lake Samish (south of Bellingham) for a change of pace. We have been getting some really good reports out of this piece of water. Many of the guys have had no problem getting their 5 fish limit in under an hour (ramp to ramp time). The fish have been good sized with many pushing the 18 inch range. The typical kokanne gear works just as well here at Samish as it does at Stevens.
