Been selling a few squid jigs the past week or so, word is that they are catching a few at Edmonds. The guys that I spoke with said that is wasn't hot by any means but were getting 12 - 15 for a few hours of jigging. They said that they were smaller squid in the 5 - 6 inch range. Though not spectacular by any means it would give one something else to do if you are tired of catching salmon.
Generally, November through mid January is the best squid jigging. The past few years the squidding has been a little on the hit or miss type of fishing. Perhaps this will be a good year.
We have a fair supply of jigs and jig making components at the present time.
