Quite a number of our regular customers have been in today that had been fishing just out of Edmonds and all found limits of coho in the 7 -13 pound range. Most everyone found them out in the deeper water in the shipping lanes at a depth of 30 -60 feet. For those that were not satisfied with their coho limits they also were able to get their additional pinks without much trouble. As far as gear went most everyone fished a flasher/squid or spoon combination. Some of the better squids were 077. 140 142, 167 and 12. The Ace High Flies by Silver Horde and Grand Slam Bucktails in White and the Green/Chartreuse colors have also been quite productive. In the Coho Killer spoons, any of the UV White or Glo base colors with green, chartreuse colors are a good bet.
We should only see better coho fishing in the next couple of weeks.
