Lots of "Really Nice" coho were caught out of the Edmonds area this morning. I looked at a bunch of them in the 10 -13 pound range. They are as nice of coho as you would like - nice and bright and very deep and healthy.
Most every one I talked with caught them shallow in the 30 -60 foot range. As far as gear went most did well on Hot Spots with either a OAL 12 R (Purple Haze) or OG 142R (Green Hornet) with a little strip of herring on the front hook.
Most of the fish were caught in the deep water and not on the beach.
