Chelan Report - Chinook & Kokanee

 Ron Moen a good friend and customer for a great number of years sent me this Chelan report from yesterday.  He is taking his annual Chelan vacation.  As you can see there is some very good fishing still to be had on the big lake.

This was the first day at Stehekin. We caught 15 Kokanee, and one King. The
first Kokanee weighed 1pound,13ounces.I didn`t weigh the King, but, I
imagine it weighed somewhere around 6 pounds. I had to quit because I didn`t
have any more room in my cooler for fish. We just got to Stehekin, and, my
refrigerator and ice chest were full of food and beer for the entire trip. I
have never seen Kokanee this big in Chelan.
