Though we are not seeing any great numbers of winter steelhead on the Snohomish system, we are at least seeing at least a few fish being caught through out the system with to no surprise most coming from the Reiter Pond section of the river. Thanksgiving is traditionally the kick off day for the system for one having at least a reasonable chance of catching a winter fish. So it looks as if they are right on schedule.
The plunkers fishing in the Snohomish have been getting a few winter fish since this past week.
With the weather warming up from the "Freeze" of the first part of the week at least people are starting to move around and brave the elements to get out and fish.
