Coastal Steelheading
Reports from the Penninsula have been coming from the past few days and the fishing has been quite good. The Bogachiel has been the place the past couple of days putting out dime bright winter hatchery steelhead. The Sooes, on the Makah Reservation has been putting out good hatchery steelhead fishing for the past week and a half. Likewise, the Salmon (tributary of the Queets) and Cook Creek on the Quinault Reservation have both been putting out good fishing for those fishing with tribal guides. Those fishing the Humptulips have been finding a few winter steelhead as well as still good numbers of late silvers and an odd king. So far, with the fishing that we have been seeing we just might be seeing at least a fair winter steelhead season on the OP.
