Sekiu Blackmouth
Had one of the regulars that took a trip to Sekiu this past weekend to fish blackmouth and had great results with fish to 20 pounds. He mentioned that they had a few smaller fish in the 6 - 7 pound range, but that most everything that they caught or saw caught were in the teens. They fished right out in front and fished the 90 - 150 foot line and caught them on Silver Horde Gold Star Tailwagger Spoons in the Irish Cream and Cookies & Cream finishes. He mentioned that there was virtually no fishing pressure with just four or five other boats fishing. This fishery is winding down with this area closing this Sunday April 10th.
