Richmond Beach - King Salmon

Though this area has not been a real barn burner this season, more than likely due to the poor returns into Elliot Bay and the Lake Washington system, there was a good bite here today. A number of the guys that I spoke with had a good bite this AM and ended up with a number of fish in the 7 - 13 pound range, and there were a couple in the twenties to boot. Everyone that I spoke with was mooching herring and not dragging hardware. The water had lots of life in it with a good amount of herring in there feeding upon it. Hopefully, this area will hold a few fish over the next few days.
