Puget Sound King Fishing

Here's Shawn with a nice Area 9 king salmon from this past week.
We have still been hearing "Good" reports on the king salmon fishing here in our section of Puget Sound. The Possession Bar area off the south end of Whidbey Island has been producing good numbers on small to medium sized kings in the 7 - 14 pound range. There have been a few fish in the mid teens to mid twenties also falling into the catches but have been far from the norm this season. There has been a wide array of effective lure this season, with Hot Spot flashers in 950 UV Jelly Crush, Glow White and Glow Green followed by squid, Ace Hi Flies, Coho Killer or Kingfisher Spoons or Grand Slam Bucktails have all been productive. One thing that has really been flying out of the shop this past week have been Tomic plugs in the 5 inch model in 602, 603, 632 And 600 colors. These plugs have been so popular that at the present time we have not a single one in stock. We have large order that is on the way, however we are dealing with Canadian Postage as well as customs - so they will be here when they are here. I will post something when they arrive.
