Lake Stevens Kokanee

For all of you kokanee fishermen wondering how Lake Stevens has been doing here's your current report.  Last Sunday was the first day that we really had some good reports.  One of our regular kokanee customers managed to land two limits for him and his son, prior to this day the best he had done was just 5.  We have also heard from John Thomas (Rotten Chum Guide Service) that he has also seen some fair fishing this week for his evening trips.  The fish have been from the surface down to around ten feet.  Small dodgers such as those from Dick Nite and Silver Horde followed by a wedding ring type offerings tipped with maggots or corn have been seeing the best results.  Fish have been averaging in the 12 - 14 inch range and are in great shape.
