12th Annual Port Angeles Halibut Derby Saturday & Sunday May 26th & 27th

Don't forget the 12th Annual Port Angeles Halibut Derby coming up this Saturday and Sunday May 26th & 27th.  This is a very popular derby with many participants, last year there were 665 fishing.  The top fish entered last year was 138 pounds landed by Chuck Brown of Renton netting him a $5,000.00 prize.  This year the top prize will once again be $5,000.00 and will decline to $135.00 for the 30th place fish. In total the derby will pay out a total of 20,000.00 in cash prizes.

Derby tickets are $40.00 per participant.  Ted's Sports Center does have tickets for this event.
