Snohomish River - Pinks & Coho

We are still getting good reports from the anglers chasing pinks in the Snohomish. There are still a fair number of pinks pushing into the tide water for those targeting the fresher fish. Those fishing in the middle and upper portions of the Snohomish as well as the Skykomish are finding a mixture of fresh and stale pinks. You will have to put in the time and weed thought them if you are wanting to take home fish of higher quality.

The coho are still a little on the inconsistent side with some of the guys limiting out easily one day and getting skunked on them the next.

The most productive method on the coho has been the typical "Dick Nite" 50 / 50 Brass / Nickle or Nickle Back Frog in a size #1 fished on a five to seven foot leader with a 1 /2 oz fished on a dropper.

We should be seeing better numbers of coho in the system after the next rains that raise the river a bit!
