Great Weekend For Salmon Anglers

No matter where you decided to fish this past weekend it was perhaps the finest salmon fishing weekend we have had here in the Puget Sound region. If you were a saltwater angler there was fantastic coho fishing from the Straits clear into southern Puget Sound. Not only were there good numbers of coho, but there were still good numbers of pinks around for those wanting their additional 2 pinks to their limit of 2 coho. Streams like the Skagit, Snohomish and Stillagumish all put out fantastic numbers of pinks along with a fair number of coho.

If you are wanting to get perhaps the best of the coho fishing here in Puget Sound I would have to say that this is perhaps the best week to fish. these fish are biting well and very responsive to fisherman's offerings. As it often is with our Puget Sound coho, those that return later are not as good of biters (Though there may be in fact greater numbers) and are reluctant to take any offerings as they just have the river on their little minds.

Get out this week, you won't be disappointed.

I'll post more when I get a moment - It's been just a little on the busy side to say the least.
