Reiter Ponds - Skykomish River

John was up fishing Reiter latter in the morning today and managed to hook three steelhead. When he called around 1 pm he said there had been around 25 steelhead landed there. This without a doubt has been the best day so far this season. He mentioned that there was no lack of fishermen fishing this section of the river.

Talked with one of the customers who fished Sultan down yesterday in his drift boat and said that they got blanked as did the wast majority of anglers fishing this middle section of the river did. Roger said he saw just one small steelhead landed. It seems the hatchery fish don't even slow down until they get to the Reiter section of the river.
