Kokanee - Lake Stevens

Had the first legitimate Kokanee report today from Lake Stevens. One of our customers was up fishing this productive Kokanee lake and managed to catch a couple kokes today, one 11inches and another at 13 and loosing a third. Jim mentioned that there were another half dozen boats on the lake but saw no other nets out. The fish he caught were from the upper 10 feet of the water column. He did not mention what he happened to hit them on.

With the early spring we should see this fishery come on earlier this year than we have seen in the past. Normally it really gets going some where in the last week of April or the first week in May.
