Baker Lake Sockeye

Though the fishing at Baker Lake has slowed a considerable amount from what it was the first couple of weeks there are still a good number of fish to be caught. Most folks to whom I have spoken with the past few days are still getting at least a couple of fish for their efforts. Most have said that the fish are biting less aggressively than they were. Make sure to fish the first few hours after daylight as this is the best bite time. Even if the fishing has been a little slower the scenery is fantastic.
