Seep Lakes - Grant & Adams Counties

With the March 1st opener of the seep lakes in Grant and Adams counties have come good fishing results from all of the usual lakes. For fairly easy limits of average sized rainbows try Caliche Lakes. The folks that we have spoke with have had easy limits of 12 inch average of nice fat rainbows. The reports out of Lenice and Nunnely have been nothing short of "Very Good" with lots of action on nice rainbows averaging 18 inches. There has been an occasional brown and an odd tiger trout (brook/brown cross).

These early opening lakes will be a good choice for something to do this weekend. The weather looks alright until latter in the day on Sunday, then it looks like we will see a cooling trend and rain through the week.
