The Reiter Pond hatchery section of the Skykomish will open at 8:00 am on Saturday 18th of July. The WDFW has collected their brood stock for production purposes and will open this section early.
From what we have heard there is a substantial number of hatchery steelhead stacked up already and should be the normal combat fishery that it always is.
Should be entertaining to say the least - at least there should be good numbers of fish caught.
