The Skykomish Chinook salmon season will close at 12:01 am Sunday July 5Th due to inadequate returns to the Wallace salmon hatchery. The area from Lewis street bridge to the mouth of the Wallace is the area that this closure will effected.
This area may reopen once it appears that adequate spawning goals will be meet!
