Skykomish River - Salmon & Steelhead

We had good reports from the Skykomish yesterday for both steelhead and salmon. Shawn and a couple of his buddies were up yesterday and managed to score on a nice summerrun and a Chinook jack. Though not exactly skunked they talked with anglers that did considerably better. One boat fishing below the mouth of the Wallace managed to score 2 summerruns and a couple of Chinook. We had good reports from the bankies in the river above High Bridge. There seems to be good numbers of fish in the river and should only continue to get better. The river did come up a little yesterday though not extreme. The river was at 5,6oo CFS this AM and is dropping. Could not ask for better conditions.
