Skagit Kings

Talked with Nick Petosa this past evening to find out whats happening on the Skagit king wise since the opening this past week. Nick said he has fished every day and has averaged 2 - 4 kings per day for his clients with a 70% hatchery rate. Most of the fish have been averaging in the 12 - 14 pound range, though yesterday he managed to get a 22 and 27 pound king. Fish have been in "Great" shape. The river has dropped and cleared substantially since the opener and currently in "Great" shape.
