If you are looking for a few smelt, then you might want to try the Oak Harbour Marina. Customers have been going up and jigging smelt at this popular spot using either a #4 or #5 Gamakatsu Sabiki Rig with white fish skin and silver hooks. Use just enough weigth to be able to cast it out and get it to settle in the water column. If you are looking for herring then try Cornet Bay.
