Lone Lake - Island County
Lone Lake has continued to put out good catches of rainbows for the fly fishermen fishing its waters. The weather has been a little unsettled and when it is windy it is almost impossible to fish. Rainbow have been averaging 14 - 18 inches and have been falling for blood worms, chrinomids and leech patterns. We heard that the WDFW planted a few more into the lake today. Did not hear what the size mix was. Catches have varied with the anglers ability, some not doing well at all and some doing well with catches in the double digits.
