Columbia River - Spring Chinook
Chinook fishing in the Columbia continues to be a real hit or miss proposition. The water still continues to be on the cold side. One of our tackle reps said that is was 43 degrees yesterday and is more than likely one of the main reasons it has been so slow. He mentioned that he has had a good day here or there, limiting one day in short order only to get skunked for the next two or three. He has been doing best fishing with green sized plug cut herring. Keep the faith, keep fishing - it has to happen shortly.
