Last Day For King Fishing - August 31 st - Marine Areas 9 - 10

Tomorrow will be the last day of king salmon fishing here in Marine Areas 9 & 10. The season has been without questions a very stellar season. In fact the reports that we had from both yesterday and today had lots of nice kings in the catches. Wish the season would continue but it is what it is. Glad to have had such a "Great" season here in our portion of Puget Sound. Now, the good news is that we have really started seeing better numbers of coho showing in the catches and have been hearing of fish into the teens this past week. Coho have been getting more common with each and every tide. With the change in the weather and the rains we are to get the next couple of days should be exactly what we need to get things really rolling. I think this up coming holiday weekend will be a good one for dusting off the coho gear and getting out and trying you luck.
