Methow River - Stelhead

Talked with Phil Lund this AM about the Methow steelheading, he said that the fishing wasn't too bad and that he was getting fish every time out. Like steelheading anywhere, some days were considerable more productive than others. Overall, the fishing has been good. The river has come up recently and with it a new influx of fish from the Columbia. We should be seeing some good fishing until the river freezes up.

Now that Phil has semi-retired, he has once again taken up some selective guiding. Phil is equally versed with the fly rod or with conventional gear so can accommodate virtually any angler.

He has a "Great" package rate of $450.00 per day for two anglers and includes accommodations with breakfast and lunch on the river.

Phil is perhaps one of the best steelheaders that I have known over the years and not only would he show you a good day on the water but I am sure that you would learn a trick or two in the process.
