The king salmon fishing is starting up north in the Sitka region at the present time. Though the fishing is not exactly red hot there are at least a few kings to be had for those willing to work for them. Here's a picture of a nice feeder king caught this past week by our friend Jim Ferro off the west side Kruzof Island. Fishing should continue to improve through this month and peak in June.
